THE NEWCOMERS CLUB ...
held its annual Spring luncheon on Saturday, May 5, at the Webster Baptist Church. The group has four ongoing activities. The Out-to-Lunch-Bunch meets the first Thursday of the month at a local restaurant. The book club meets the first Tuesday in the evening at City Lights. The Meet-and-Eat is a monthly couples' dinner, and the Gourmet Lunch group has small formal gatherings. The club welcomes new members, both recently arrived as well as established area residents.
