Mustang basketball teams will start season at East Henderson

Smoky Mountain's Jason Bennett Photo by Carey Phillips Smoky Mountain's men's basketball team opened its season by splitting a pair of games last weekend in the Turkey Tipoff Classic at East Henderson.

The Mustangs fell to East 78-59 Friday but bounced back Saturday to edge West Henderson 56-54.
