Franklin’s swimming teams claims two victories from Jackson County
Franklin’s swim teams defeated Jackson County last Thursday in a meet shortened after lightening delayed the start of the event.
The Franklin boys won 274-110 with the Franklin girls winning 309-191.
“In spite of the fact that the All-Star qualifying times were made more rigorous this year, we’ve had several individual swimmers qualify for the All-Star Meet,” Coach Peter Hughes said.
Jackson County’s Quinn Manning, age 7, swims the breaststroke in the boys 9-10 200-yard medley. His teammates in the relay were Ethan Eyler, Spencer Stone and Alex Smith.
