Cheerleading clinic planned

The Smoky Mountain cheerleaders will hold the second annual Mustang Cheerleader Clinic from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the school gym. It is open to ages 6-12 at a $25 cost, which includes a T-shirt. Registration will be in the school’s front lobby at 8:30 a.m. Forms are available at the school office. Participants should bring a bag lunch. Those attending will have an opportunity to perform at a home football game. This is one of several fund-raisers planned for national competition in February.
